

Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo Nevares was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Bernard J. Ganter on July 18, 1981. His first assignment was as a parochial vicar at St. Patrick's Church in Lufkin, then served as vocations director for the LaSalette Missionaries. He then resumed his pastoral ministry, serving as a parochial vicar at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Jacksonville and a Catholic chaplain at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.
Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo Nevares served as pastor of St. Patrick's Church in Lufkin. In addition to his pastoral duties, he served as provincial counselor to the St. Louis province of the LaSalette Missionaries. He became co-director of Vocations for Holy Orders and Consecrated Life in the Diocese of Tyler in 2002. He also served as DIOCESAN DIRECTOR OF CHARISMATIC GROUPS..
After twenty-five years as a LaSalette Missionary, Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo Nevares was incardinated into the Diocese of Tyler in 2007. In 2008, he was appointed vice-rector of the College of Liberal Arts at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio.
On May 11, 2010, Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo Nevares was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Phoenix, Arizona, and Titular Bishop of Natchesium by Pope Benedict XVI. In response to his appointment, he said, "I am so grateful to Almighty God for entrusting me with this great ministry of being a successor to the Apostles. I am so grateful to the Holy Father for giving me this graced opportunity to serve God and the Holy People of Phoenix." He will be the first auxiliary bishop of and the first Hispanic bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix. His Episcopal motto will be: "Serve the Lord with gladness."

Fr Bill Halbing is the pastor of St. Antonius Church in Newark, NJ, a charismatic parish. He has been in the Charismatic Renewal since 1975 and has been a speaker at NATIONAL CHARISMATIC CONFERENCES in Los Angeles, Pittsburg, New Jersey, Denver, Florida, New Hampshire and Idaho. He has also conducted tent revivals for youth conferences at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio; days of renewal, parish missions and Children’s Bible Conferences. He has preached in Canada, Guyana and Eastern Europe; door-to-door evangelization and Hispanic ministry. He has a BA in Spanish and received a Master of Divinity in 2000; a Masters degree in Judeo/ Christian studies from Seaton Hall University.

In 1992, he walked 4,200 miles across the U.S. mainland, carrying a cross on his shoulders. The action was typical of Murphy’s use of drama and symbols to challenge people with the Gospel message.
Murphy has been the director of the Detroit Charismatic Renewal, executive director of the All Michigan Catholic Charismatic Conference, and chairman of the National Service Committee for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and the youth executive committee for the North American Renewal Services.
He is also actively involved with the International Catholic Charismatic Services.

Fr. John Shetler has served the Diocese of Phoenix for almost 18 years as a priest. His seminary formation was at Mount Angel Benedictine Seminary in Oregon and then with the Sulpicians at St. Patrick’s seminary in Menlo Park, CA. His was first assigned at St. Louis the King of France Parish in Glendale as an Associate Pastor where he received one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the gift of tongues. Fr. John further developed his healing ministry at the monthly healing masses at St. Jerome’s parish under the guidance of Fr. Pierre Hissey. He also began a healing ministry at St. Germaine’s Parish in Prescott Valley when he was pastor there. Fr. John is currently the Parochial Vicar at the Holy Cross Church in Mesa.
